Robin Short: Runners-up
Timothy Howson and Joanne Bolton, England) were at their best. It appeared that
Timothy was totally focused throughout the Championship and seemed to have every
aspect of their dancing under control. They are a dance teachers' delight
which is meant as a compliment
of the highest order.
Every part of their dancing can be used as a pointer to
how it should be done.
I liked their Foxtrot which they won and also their Tango in which they display a great understanding
of how to use the timing as opposed to the music.
In an event which as this perhaps less caution would bring desired rewards.

Lorraine Drolet (was mistaken as
written by John Byrnes. My apology. Editor) :
Winners Timothy Howson & Joanne Bolton (England).
Taking the winners crown. As always dancing fully without fear as they know they can rely on
their superb technique. A trademark of Timothy and Joanne we have come to love. Today I thought
Joanne to be particularly more beautiful as a dancer due to her very balanced position over her feet, allowing her shoulder weight to connect to the floor without inhibiting Timothy.
